On the morning of March 10, 2022, Oman Air’s flight WY2831 departing from Muscat Airport, Oman touched down in Noi Bai International Airport, marking the airline's first presence in Vietnam.

The first flight of Oman Air bound for Hanoi was welcomed by a cozy celebration hosted by NCTS as best wishes for its inaugural operation in Vietnam. Oman Air's service to Hanoi is expected to meet the growing freight demand of the two countries, thereby further tightening economic, cultural, and social exchanges.

Established in 1993, Oman Air (WY) is the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman. Up to now, the airline owns a modern fleet of 51 aircraft and operates a network and flights to 50 destinations worldwide. The airline plans to operate nonstop flights of Muscat-Hanoi-Muscat rotation with a frequency of 2 flights per week by a wide-body Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

With proven capabilities in cargo handling and undergoing thorough evaluations, Noi Bai Cargo Terminal Services (NCTS) is honored to be selected by Oman Air as a cargo handler providing cargo handling service for the airline in Noi Bai. Oman Air is the third Middle Eastern airline customer of NCTS. Together with Taiwan’s Starlux Airlines, Thailand’s Thai Smile Air, having Oman Air as a new airline customer has been the joy of NCTS in the early days of 2022.
